3rd & 4th Grade: Wednesday, April 30, 2014, 4:00 p.m. at McAuliffe

5th Grade: Thursday, May 1, 2014, 4:00 p.m. at McAuliffe

Middle School: Tuesday, April 29, 2014, 4:15 at Chappleow

Battle uniforms/t-shirts

The top two teams from each grade head into district battle.  

This year, the uniforms you create for the battles at University Schools will be the uniforms you wear to district battles.   Please remember, there can be no book titles or author names on shirts and uniforms must be school appropriate.

Battle dates and team poster, uniforms and name

University Schools battle dates have been posted!  See 2014 battle dates on the right hand side of this page.


As a team you get to create a team poster, decide on team uniforms and team names.  Get creative as you would like as long as everything is school appropriate.  Also, book titles and author names MAY NOT be included on the poster, the uniforms or in the team name.

We will have practice questions for coaches in January. We'll send you an email in when those are ready for you to pick up in the library.

Team Information

Elementary teams have been posted outside the Elementary/High School Library.  

The elementary meeting for coaches will be Wednesday, December 4 from 3:30-4:15 in the Elementary/High School Library. 

Middle school teams will be posted the week of December 4.  A meeting for middle school coaches will be Wednesday, December 11 in the Middle School Library from 3:15-4:00.

BOB forms are in the middle school library and are due 11/20/13.  

Book lists may change depending on how many teams form. Sign-up today!

Permission forms will be available after November 4 (pick one up in the library at the elementary/high library)!

A parent/coach meeting is set for Wednesday, December 4 at 3:30 pm.

Start talking to your friends and form teams of 4-5 team members.
